JULE’S & GREG WILD SWIM

Working on Jules and Greg's Wild Swim for BBC Scotland was an absolute blast from start to finish. As one of the producers, I helped set up and organize the series by managing risk assessments, location permissions, and flight plans. I also had the opportunity to serve as the drone operator for some of the episodes, capturing stunning aerial perspectives of Scotland's breathtaking locations, including the Isle of Skye. Jules and Greg are wonderfully genuine and funny people, and the entire crew quickly bonded over cold swims during lunch breaks and after wrap. This collection of clips showcases the final programme, but behind the wheel and on location, it was the incredible scenery, the fun, and the fantastic camaraderie that truly brought this wild swimming adventure to life.

Porto

Soaring above Porto offered an incredible perspective on this vibrant, sun-drenched Portuguese city. As the drone operator, I had the amazing opportunity to capture sweeping aerial views of the city's iconic bridges, historic architecture, and lively streets from above. This clip showcases the unique energy, rich colors, and stunning geography that make Porto such an unforgettable place to fly and film.

GLADYS: STORY COMPLETE

Working on Gladys was a deeply emotional experience for Gladys and her family as we followed her poignant journey to Ireland, and that emotional weight resonated just as strongly with the crew. It was impossible not to be moved by Gladys' heartfelt longing to find her birth father and the touching bonds she formed with new family members in Ireland whom she had never met before. As one of the producers, I also handled the logistics and risk assessments for the production, while serving as the drone operator for the trip, liaising directly with the local council to secure the necessary permissions to fly at Killiney Hill and Deansgrange Cemetery to capture the breathtaking landscapes that framed her story. This clip offers a glimpse into that powerful journey, reflecting the profound emotion, connection, and care that went into telling Gladys' story.

MICHELLE MCMANUS SINGS FOR THE POPE

This introspective feature documentary follows the singer and broadcaster on a profound spiritual journey of a lifetime. I was proud to work as one of the producers on the project, liaising with the local archdiocese and securing essential permissions, while also serving as the drone operator for the Scotland shoot. That included filming mostly in Glasgow and in Baillieston, where Michelle grew up. This clip showcases a glimpse of the documentary, reflecting the care, reverence, and powerful storytelling that went into bringing her remarkable journey to the screen. I unfortunetly didn’t get to travel Rome for this one but spoiler alert she does end up singing for the Pope.
