I’m an experienced, fully licensed drone operator based in Edinburgh, with a background in film and television production. I specialise in aerial filming for factual TV and documentaries.

Before moving into drone operating, I spent over six years working in production across roles including; Producer, Production Manager and Production Coordinator. I’ve worked on Netflix feature films, BBC documentaries and a range of factual productions, which gave me a strong understanding of life on set and the demands of production.

I’ve flown in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, cities across the UK, and internationally in the USA and EU. Having worked in production, I’m comfortable working as part of a wider crew and understand the importance of being reliable, adaptable and easy to work with on set.

I moved into drone operation because I wanted to be more involved in the creative side of production. I enjoy being on location, working closely with directors, DOPs and crews, and finding the right aerial shot for a project.

I’m particularly interested in nature and natural history programmes, as well as drama, and I’m always interested in projects where aerial filming can contribute something to the story, location or scene.
